My First Western & School Stuff & Other Stuff...

Yippee! I started writing my first Western, and so far Im having fun with it. There's a good mystery to the story and hopefully how I write it it'll give some suspense to the story. The other story, the one that I have a blog for, is going to be worked on in bits and pieces here and there. I dont think I want to do that one again, though.

This Western... if I get it published I'll be shocked. That's my goal anyways! I'll be very happy to reach finialization; even if I dont get it published. Im actually writing this one, so I can work on it whenever without having to fire up my computer. Which is good, because that beast takes so long and then sometimes it randomly shuts down and stupid me, I never save my work frequently enough and rely on the autosave. Gotta get better about that!

I also made my clay pot in art today, so tomorrow I need to trim the bottom and make it look all nice and fancy-smancy. My dancing fish... that's another story. I got both fins on today and hopefully tomorrow I'll suceed in getting the arms on. I need to sculpt the body some more, so I think if I put "fat" on it'll look better. I'll try and get pictures of it once it's done.

Oh and on my face-vase I got a 47 out of 50! I was so proud of myself. I'll try and get a picture, but its a fish jumping out of the water with a sun in the background and then rapalas and fly rods on the borders. I was proud of myself and I think Mom's going to hang it up down here. Fits right into the hunting & fishing them we have going on. So far I've supplied my bass clock and want to do a nice drawing of a fish underwater to supply also. I think that'll be cool, especially if I can give it to Dad for his birthday or something (have a year to do so!)

Test in History today. I think I did OK. It was an easy chapter test, nothing to big to worry about. Science was a bore, finished the slideshow on Hydrogen Fuel Cell alternative power. Going to present that tomorrow. Hopefully it'll go ok. I dont think my parent is going to present with me, but I love presenting my slideshows so... lol.

Horse Science... test tomorrow. Breeds & Notes... should do some studying on that. The breeds Im good on, I think. The Caspian and Cerbat and Florida Cracker are the only ones that throw me off. I think I know of the Cerbat one for sure now so... we'll see. I cant wait until we get into genetics for coat colors. I think that'll be really interesting to learn.

Im also going to compile my German notes eventually... if I can find them. haha. Once I do Im going to compile them into a notebook so I have reference to everything. Im going to get that language mastered if its the last thing I'll do! Course, I've only had one year of it, so we'll see how year 2 goes in German.

Im on the hunt for a Western-themed RPG. Random hunt but hopefully something will come up. I think that'd be a rather interesting RPG, and we'll see. Maybe I'll try and create something myself. Who knows?

I counted ten days until State! Im nervous and excited and really need to get my butt studying those flash cards so I know the ID part. I did so horrible last time. Not even funny. I cant do that bad at State. Im aiming to place in the top five. That'll be a good goal. Im sure we'll do fine, but im nervious about the ID portion because I did so horrible last time. :(

We have the Horse Expo next Friday, but Im not going with my grandma this year. That was horrible, finding that out. It was the one thing I look forward to every year with her, even more this year because they got a whole bunch of new things. Like a Vaulting demostration! I wanted to see that SO badly! But we're not going... :( That was a huge blow.

They're still trying to sell the horses. If they sell as a pair I get $250, if they sell seprate I get $200. Either way, I'd love the money. I'd be sitting pretty if I decided to buy a car next year. Which I'd love to, but first I need to find a job... which I should start doing soon. Maybe after State I'll start looking for a job, since School is almost out.

Hm dum.
